Kevin Englert

Kevin joined the team full-time for the 2011 tax season after preparing tax returns on a part-time basis in previous years.  He earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from James Madison University.  Kevin spent four years in the public accounting sector before transitioning to the internal audit profession with Harman International and Fannie Mae for another five years.  Kevin received his Certified Public Accountant license in 2004 and became licensed as a Certified Financial Planner in 2013.  He holds both the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses in addition to his life and health insurance license. He is a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He resides in Oakton with his wife, Claudine, and two daughters, Helen and Florence.  Kevin likes to spend his free time outdoors, whether it be hiking or trying out his green thumb in his vegetable garden.  Since the birth of his two daughters in 2012 and 2015, Kevin has been preoccupied with the joys of parenting.
